I MUST REMEMBER

So much going on in my mind and in my heart.  Sometimes in the night when I can’t sleep I wonder: is it me or is it God keeping me awake.
Focus! I have to focus NOT on the circumstances that right now seem overwhelming but I MUST FOCUS ON GOD!
I must remember that God’s plan and purpose for me is greater than I could ever imagine –
even when I don’t feel like things are great
even when I can’t see His plan
even when I don’t understand His plan
I must remember God sees the beginning from the end and I cannot.
I must remember God hears my every sigh and He cares about the details of my life.
I must remember when I am weak He is strong.
I must remember these trials and tests are God’s way of making me stronger.
I must remember God is in control and I can trust Him with all things at all times, especially when I don’t understand.
I must remember God always loves me. His love never changes.
I must remember even when I fail, God never fails and He never stops loving me.
What does it all mean?
God’s got this!  I can trust him with whatever is on my mind and my heart.  I am going to sleep now.
Psalm 119:147 – 148    NLT
I rise early before the sun is up; I cry out for help and put my hope in Your words.  I stay awake through the night, thinking about Your promise.  In your faithful love, O LORD, hear my cry; in Your justice, save my life.
Psalm 138:2b, 7a, 8     NLT
I will give thanks to Your name; You encourage me by giving me the strength I need. Though I am surrounded by troubles You will preserve me against the anger of my enemies. The LORD will work out His plans for my life- for Your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever.  Don’t abandon me, for You made me.
Psalm 120:1       NLT
I took my troubles to the LORD; I cried out to Him and He answered my prayer.
